Taiwan’s unique geographical location gave rise to a diverse ecosystem of high complexity and varied physiognomy. Among these, the evolution of vertebrates is considered the most complete. Hence, the Museum has planned for an additional area for the “Diversity of Terrestrial Vertebrates” exhibition, to display specimens of amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals to increase public awareness of the appearance and variety of vertebrates that coexist with us on the island of Taiwan.
